Has experience in rural development policy (working for the national strategy for rural development with the objective to increase farmers access to the market, improve the infrastructure and develop rural areas). The expert was also involved in: elaboration of studies on the Romanian Agricultural Policies and the implication of adopting Common Agricultural Policy in Romania; studies on cost and benefits following CAP adoption; Agricultural Markets (studies on agri-food competitiveness using the domestic resource cost ratio methodology).

The expert has broad experience in project management, especially in managing agricultural economics related national and international projects, financed under Phare Programme, World Bank projects and others bilateral agreements. Has capability to carry out trainings and public awareness campaigns and participated in development of economic and administrative instruments for rural development in the agricultural sector. Was involved in institutional capacity building and in working with local administrations, has knowledge’s of community organising and experience in facilitating decision making. The experts experience includes analyses related to: investments – factor of restructuring and developing for agrifood sector; foreign direct investments – factor of re-launching for agrifood sector; and marketing studies.
